UCLA is a pioneer in generating electricity and steam from wood waste, a renewable source of energy.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;This acquisition reinforces our strategy of investing in assets that ensure the country&#8217;s energy security and reduce the risks of scarcity, providing security to the energy transition process. The incorporation of UCLA strengthens \u00c2mbar&#8217;s strategic position in the stability of the supply of the electricity system&#8221;, says Marcelo Zanatta, president of \u00c2mbar Energia.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00c2mbar operates in the generation and commercialization of energy and in the transportation of gas. The acquisition of UCLA is another strategic step in the expansion and diversification of \u00c2mbar&#8217;s generation park, which has an installed capacity of 2.3 gigawatts (GW).
