The transfer of control of the concessionaire was approved by the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) and the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade). <\/p>\n<p>Roraima Energia, which is now \u00c2mbar Energia Roraima, is responsible for supplying the entire state, serving more than 221 thousand consumer units in the 15 municipalities in Roraima. This is the second electricity concessionaire integrated into the portfolio of \u00c2mbar, which since April, has controlled the energy supply in the state of Amazonas, serving more than 1 million customers. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Taking over Roraima Energia represents another important step in \u00c2mbar&#8217;s strategy to consolidate its operations in the North of Brazil. We arrived with a new management model and operational discipline to ensure a safer and more reliable supply, contributing directly to the development of Roraima and the North region&#8221;, says Vicente Zuffo, president of \u00c2mbar Energia Roraima.<\/p>\n<p>With 11 years of experience in the energy sector, \u00c2mbar Energia has a diversified portfolio, which includes generation, distribution and commercialization of energy. The company is currently one of the largest generators in Brazil, with 59 assets, including hydroelectric plants (SHPs), solar, biogas, biomass, natural gas, oil and coal. <\/p>\n<p>The company is part of the J&#038;F group, one of the largest business conglomerates in the world, with 73 years of experience in sectors such as food, mining and cellulose.
